The San Antonio Public Library

In 1997, Accu-Rite Roofing installed the original built-up, modified bitumen roof system on what was then the new San Antonio Library. We are pleased to have had the opportunity to work on such an important San Antonio landmark.

The Port Isabel Lighthouse

The historic Point (Port) Isabel Lighthouse was originally built in 1852. It was occupied by both Union and Confederate armies during The Civil War. It has been in and out of use for 161 years. On October 15, 1950, the lighthouse became the property of Texas Parks and Wildlife. In 1997, Accu-Rite Roofing was honored to assist The Texas Parks and Wildlife in the rehabbing of the structure by refitting the metal roof and globe located at the top of the structure.

The Freeman Coliseum

The majority of San Antonio residents are familiar with the Freeman Coliseum, most commonly remembered for hosting the annual Stock Show and Rodeo, among other events. Accu-Rite performed repairs to the domed roof of the coliseum with an aluminum-sheathed modified bitumen product. The arrows indicate where the repairs took place and what they look like.

Homewood Suites - H.I.L.T.O.N.

Replacing the roof at Homewood Suites downtown proved a rewarding and challenging task. The height of the structure created safety issues that needed to be addressed on an almost hourly basis. Receiving material for the roof was not for the faint of heart. The project was completed on time and without a hitch.

Historic Structure In The Downtown Area

The project at this historic structure involved replacing the roof, a wooden deck, and reinstalling roof pavers to accommodate a patio and gazebo. The careful coordination and planning of the project were essential to bringing all the elements of this roof together. We and our client were very pleased with the final outcome.
